Under 10’s

Tenby Swifts Under 10’s travelled to sunny Laugharne to face one of the best Carmarthenshire has to offer. Captain for the day was George McDonald. The team right from the kick off found themselves in a very physical match, with Laugharne pressuring their defence and matching the Swifts in the contact area. It took a while before the first try came for the Swifts and Largharne were not far behind equalizing. Tenby managed to end the first half 4-2. Coach Jamie and Frankie calmed the Swifts nerves and the team marched into the second half more determined. Ollie, Iestyn, Will D and George dominated the rucks with over 10 turnovers between them. Will H and Logan linked well in the wings; while the Half Back pairing of Rhys and Jack made sure the backs had plenty of ball. Jayden, Lucas, Tom and Evan carried the ball well, while Tyler gave everything in defence, not letting Laugharne through. The final whistle blew and Tenby came out on top as 11-2 winners. The score did not do Laugharne justice as not one try for Tenby was easy in this physical encounter.

Tries: Logan (2), Ollie (4), Jayden (2), Rhys B, Iestyn and Evan C

Man of the Match (or Men) went to both Ollie and Bennett. Both put in a huge game defensively and attacking. Well done both.
